Charles D. Lee

Charles D. Lee is currently a Certified County Court Mediator with extensive experience in Longshore Workers’ Compensation claims, as well as Defense Base Act claims. Mr. Lee has worked in the workers’ compensation field for over 30 years.

 

For over 15 years, Mr. Lee was the District Director for the Longshore Division of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs with the United States Department of Labor in Jacksonville, Florida, which had the third-highest volume of Defense Base Act cases in the country. While at the Department of Labor, Mr. Lee held almost one thousand informal conferences.

 

Prior to serving as the District Director, Mr. Lee was a claims examiner with the U.S. Department of Labor working with Longshore cases as well as with the Division of Federal Employee Workers’ Compensation in both Jacksonville, Florida, and New York. He also held multi-line claims adjuster positions with Liberty Mutual Insurance, Gay & Taylor Adjusters, and USF&G Insurance Company in his early career. Mr. Lee graduated college in 1974 with a BA Degree in Public Administration.

 

When not in a mediation, Chuck enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
